A rare supercar on sale in Bolton has been sold using cryptocurrency for the first time in the world.
The crypto industry continues to expand. Previously, it was on the agenda that famous automobile companies such as Tesla would sell vehicles with crypto money. Following this, many auto companies made similar attacks and combined their path with crypto. Although automobile companies have cooperated to date, the first example of vehicle sales with crypto came from Bolton.
First Car Sold With Cryptocurrency
Car dealership Supercar Clinic in Bolton, England, has sold a rare car, the Ariel Atom, in exchange for Bitcoin (BTC).
The rare car, called the Atom, goes on sale twice a year and has a price tag of close to 100 thousand pounds. This car, which was sold for the first time using cryptocurrency, can produce 350 horsepower and contains expensive materials such as kevlar.
Supercar Clinic Sales Manager Aadil Patel said:
“The idea that you can sell or buy a car with cryptocurrency, let alone a prestigious supercar like the Ariel Atom, seemed like a science fiction novel when we first started trading.”
