Nokia, one of the popular phone brands of a period, seems to maintain its strong presence in the USA while competing with giants such as Apple, Xiaomi and Samsung today. A new study by analyst firm IDC has revealed that Nokia is the fifth best phone brand in the US market.
Expanding its market share
In the shared report, Nokia, which experienced a great increase in smartphone shipments in the first quarter of the year and compared to the previous year, continues to expand its market share rapidly. However, while the Nokia C100 is the 15th best-selling smartphone model in the US this year, the C200 has also achieved successful momentum.
Although the shared report does not include figures about shipments, Nokia’s rise seems to be in line with previous IDC and Strategy Analytics reports. In previous reports, it was shared that Nokia displayed a growth profile of 87 percent in North America in the first quarter of the year, while the growth rate in Europe was 31 percent.
