San Francisco-based financial services company Stripe has announced a new partnership to enable its users to pay with USDC.
Payment processor Stripe announced that it has agreed with Ethereum scaling platform Polygon for the service, announcing that it will allow some of its users to receive payments in the popular stablecoin USDC.
The company showed that it continues to work in the crypto market with the new agreement.
Stripe Sets Up With Polygon for USDC Payments
Initial payments will be made using Polygon network-specific USDC stablecoins and Polygon-compatible wallets, according to the announcement Friday. The company will offer its users USDC payments thanks to the MATIC infrastructure.
Twitter Supports Agreement
Twitter has reportedly supported this agreement and will make it available. The social media platform will be the first to try the feature, allowing a select number of Twitter users to receive their earnings in USDC.
Stripe stated that it will add support for other currencies over time and will work on this issue.
