Aurich Lawson, founding director of the Ars Technica portal
, drew attention to the similarity of the logo of the Street Fighter 6 fighting game, which was announced on February 21, using a template from the Adobe Stock store.
Street Fighter 6 Capcom used a different styled logo than those used in previous episodes. The new logo featured the abbreviation SF enclosed in a hexagon and a number at the junction of the two edges.
Minor logo changes
As Lawson discovered, the Street Fighter 6 logo is only a stencil that sells for $80 on Adobe Stock. It appears to be a slightly modified version. The corners of the letters are rounded and the edges are thinner. In addition to the SF option, Adobe Stock also offers logo templates such as SG, SP, and SC, similar to those used by Street Fighter 6 but with different abbreviations.
Street Fighter 6’s release date and list of target platforms have not been announced at this time. However, this summer, it is stated that Capcom will share more information about the details of the new fighting game. As for the similarity of the logo, no statement has been made yet from the company.
