To web pages that don’t use self canonical Unable to add bookmark
Websites from pages with similar content use the canonical tag to tell search engines which page to base it on in search results. However, since the Safari browser uses the URL specified in this tag, which is used to redirect search engine bots, to bookmark, pages whose canonical URL is not equal to its own URL cannot be added to favorites.
For example, https://www.hepsiburada.com/iphone-13-128-gb-p-HBCV00000ODHHZ as the canonical URL of https://www.hepsiburada.com/iphone-13- Since the c-80837000 is given, when you want to bookmark the iPhone 13 product page, Safari bookmarks the category page, which is the canonical URL of this page.
This error, which has not been fixed for a long time despite being reported to Apple, causes users to be unable to bookmark these pages if website owners consciously or unconsciously use canonical URLs that are not self-pointing.
