BlueWhale007 highlights with SHIB acquisition
Blockchain data monitoring website WhaleStats recently announced that “BlueWhale0073” made another transaction and with a single transaction, 50.29 billion dollars for 1.26 million dollars. SHIB reported that it bought it. The whale appears to have been aggressively accumulating SHIB since April 13, 2022. This massive transaction has amassed 1.40 trillion SHIB worth $36.9 million in five separate transactions. Kriptokoin.com, shortly after the Robinhood announcement, the whale made a big transaction adding 775.47 billion SHIB in total. This amount is worth approximately $20.6 million. The whale has amassed an additional 587.15 billion Shiba Inu in three separate transactions on April 14, 15 and 18. At the time of writing, Shina Inu appears to be the largest held coin in terms of dollar value among the top 1000 Ethereum (ETH) Whale wallets as they currently hold a total of $1,503,544,804 ($1.50 billion) in SHIB.
Other altcoins most held by whales
Aside from SHIB, at the center of the whales is the FTX Token (FTT) of crypto derivatives platform FTX. Whales hold 1.2 billion FTX tokens. It is followed by BEST with 360 million, MATIC with 340 million, MANA with 303 million, OKB with 290 million, CHSB with 269 million and LINK with 265 million. It is worth noting that BEST and OKB are also exchange tokens. BEST is Bitpanda Ecosystem Token based on Bitpanda exchange. OKB is the cryptocurrency of the OKEx exchange. MATIC is the layer-2 scaling solution while MANA is the token of the metaverse Decentraland.
