Still no good news from Intel Arc Alchemist graphics cards. According to information from reliable sources, the GPUs are said to be ready for limited use by the first quarter of 2022. However, it is added that a proper launch will not occur until the second quarter.
The rumors came from YouTuber Moore’s Law Is Dead, who shared such news. This time, he featured multiple quotes in his latest video. He listed this information in order of confidence.
Intel Arc Alchemist release date still unclear
Moore’s Law Is Dead cites safe sources that are instrumental in leaking proven information, such as Intel Raptor Lake rumors or photos of an Intel Arc Alchemist engineering sample . However, as with other leaks, we do not know how accurate these are until an official statement from the company is received.
All of the sources that YouTube calls highly reliable say the same thing. Intel has pushed Arc Alchemist to the second quarter of 2022. A source states that the high-end desktop version of the graphics card will be released on the latest. It is reported that some cards will start sampling in March or April. However, this does not mean that it will open up to the consumer market.
Two of the sources claimed that Intel will unveil its graphics cards again during a gaming convention before the GPUs are officially released. One of the quotes points to PAX East, which will take place from April 21-24 this year.
Based on these quotes, we understand that Intel will not be releasing the high-end Arc Alchemist for a while. It looks like we’re going to start seeing the low-end Arc Alchemist chip in some laptops first.
