Steam, the popular game distribution platform signed by Valve, has made a radical change in the interface design that we have been familiar with for a while. The update, which is currently available to beta users, offers useful features and a much more stylish design. So what are the changes? Let’s see together.

Steam interface has been completely renewed

Although Steam remains true to its essence in its new interface design, it offers many innovations that will enhance the gaming experience. First of all, we can say that the era of taking notes on paper or desktop in order to remember the details of the players is coming to an end. Steam users can now access the details they want to remember from the notes section added to Steam’s in-game interface.

Let’s also mention that this section, which you can place at any point on the screen, offers customizable options such as transparency setting. In this way, you will be able to follow the notes you take in the game without changing the window. In addition, the renewed interface allows game guides, music player or browser window to be fixed.
In addition to these, Steam has completely changed the notification system. Users will now only be notified “when something important happens” and the notification box will now show active discounts on games added to the wishlist. The View All option will allow all notifications to the account to be displayed in chronological order.

It is not known when the new Steam interface, which is currently available to Beta users, will be made available to the general public. Users who want to take a look at the changes can find details about the Beta program here.
