The July 2023 list of the Steam Hardware Survey, which is shared monthly by Steam, has been shared. Based on Steam users, the list shows us the latest state of the competition in the operating system, graphics card and processor market. Let’s take a look at the results of the survey together.

Steam Hardware Survey for July announced

According to the list, the most preferred graphics card by Steam users did not change in July and became GeForce GTX 1650 (5.30 percent). The GPU, which lost a share of 0.37 percent compared to the previous month, is followed by the RTX 3060 (4.88 percent) in second place. The GTX 1060 (4.60 percent), which ranked third in the list last month, managed to increase its share by 0.02 percent.

When we look at the list in general, there is a significant rise in the RTX 3000 series graphics cards. Of course, behind this are the new discounts we started to see after the RTX 4000 and the second-hand market that started to increase. The best performing card of July was the RTX 3070 (3.26 percent). AMD RX 7900 XTX (0.17 percent), on the other hand, managed to be included in the Steam lists for the first time.
As for the processor ranking, Intel’s rise has come to an end here. In July, Intel’s share fell 1.18 percent to 66.76 percent. Its rival AMD, on the other hand, accounts for 33.19 percent of Steam users with an increase of 1.16 percent.

In operating systems, we see that Windows 10 is sitting in the leadership seat. The operating system, which makes up 57.87 percent of Steam users, is followed by Windows 11 with a 36.67 percent share. In addition, while the share of Windows 10 fell by 0.56 percent in July, the share of Windows 11 increased by 0.92 percent.
