A new statement has been published regarding the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models, which have been on the agenda with leaks for a while. Cirrus Logic, one of the Apple suppliers, touched on the physical key issue in the iPhone 15 family.
iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max may come with a physical key
The iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to be the first to feature an A-series chip built on TSMC’s next-generation 3nm technology. It is estimated that the 3nm chip technology will increase the processing performance by 10 to 15 percent and at the same time reduce power consumption by up to 35 percent. It is worth noting that the A17 Bionic processors will only be used in iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models.
Apple will appear with a dynamic island in all four models. The company, which is stated to use a titanium frame in Pro models, will include Type-C technology in the iPhone 15 series.
Commenting on Taptic Engine buttons, Cirrus Logic said, “Among the HPMS opportunities we discussed, a new product we mentioned in previous shareholder letters is scheduled to launch this fall. However, it is not expected to be released as planned.” made his statement. Note that HPMS refers to Cirrus Logic’s high-performance, mixed-signal chips that include haptic drivers for the Taptic Engine on iPhones.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is stated to be released with a titanium case, will be presented to users with rounded edges. Apple will enlarge the camera island in addition to the titanium case in the iPhone 15 Pro Max model. It is among the leaked information that the device will be introduced with a larger camera protrusion and wide camera lens.
It is speculated that Apple will use Sony’s latest “state-of-the-art” image sensors for the iPhone 15 models. Sony uses semiconductor architecture, which allows more photodiodes by placing photodiodes and transistors in separate layers.
Allegedly, Apple will include a 1-inch Sony IMX903 sensor in the iPhone 15 Pro Max model. It is stated that the main camera of the device will be 48 Megapixels.
