Xbox boss Phil Spencer announced on X (Twitter) that Starfield reached 1 million concurrent players on its release day.

According to the statement, this number covers all platforms. That means Xbox Series X/S, PC and cloud-accessing players are all included. When we look at SteamDB data, we see that 269,177 players were reached yesterday. Spencer thanked the developers at Bethesda for this achievement, adding: “Thank you to all the players who helped us reach this milestone.”
In a statement to Bloomberg, Spencer also said that they thought Starfield would be a great success for Xbox. In the statement, he stated that the game will be the most played new generation Xbox game.
We can say that the number of 1 million concurrent players is a significant achievement.
