Any official ceremony around the world can host a completely different surprise at any time. We came across one of them the other day. The Space Command within the scope of the German Armed Forces opened its new building with the Star Wars theme. Let us warn you from the beginning, this news is read with this music.
Now we don’t know if you say “Germany is referring to its past” or if the organizers of the ceremony do not know the real world references of the Star Wars universe, but the way the ceremony handled Star Wars was undoubtedly strange. The Star Wars characters at the ceremony were from the Galactic Empire era. Darth Vader was also leading the way.
Images from the Space Command new building ceremony in Germany:
It broke our hearts that the name of the leader of the time, Darth Sidious, was not mentioned in this closed event. Likewise, the fact that our brother Vader did not play The Imperial March during his parade destroyed the expectations of the participants.
We don’t yet know when Luke Skywalker, who is training in the US Space Force, will step up. He may not have been born yet, so we’ll have to wait and see.
In the meantime, let’s open the subject for those who do not know: In the Star Wars universe, Darth Vader and his army refer to the Nazis, the most unnamed organization in world history. Even the Stormtrooper, named after Vader’s soldiers, takes its name directly from a unit of the Nazis. We do not know whether the organizers of the ceremony were unaware of these references when making this choice…
Or maybe it just keeps hanging around here:
