The GSC Game World team, which made a throne with the STALKER series, had to postpone the new game of the series with the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. The team, whose studio in Ukraine has disbanded and established a new order, has released the first gameplay trailer of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which we are looking forward to.
In STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, developed with Unreal Engine 5, we will try to survive in a dystopian world full of creatures, as in every game in the series. But the game will have a big improvement in graphics this time:

As we can see from the gameplay trailer, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will not be just a survival game. The game will also include a story.
According to the details shared by the developer team, the game will have a huge map of 64 square kilometers. Everything we do on this map will be up to us and we will be given the opportunity to wander around the map. Our goal in the game is to get rid of this area called ‘The Zone’.
STALKER 2 still hasn’t had a clear release date. But the game will be released in 2023.
