Squid Game’s Season 2 Will Have ‘Better Games’

Netflix series Squid Game, which both garnered the admiration of the audience and caused great controversy with its violent elements, was also approved for the second and third seasons right after the first season ended. The series, which is Netflix’s most lucrative business to date, came to the fore again today with new news from its second season.

Hwang Dong-Hyuk, the name behind Squid Game and the director of the series, shared new information about the second season of the series. The Playlist’s “Do you have an idea for a second season?” Answering the question, Dong-Hyuk said that he had ‘some’ ideas but would not give spoilers. But it did not pass without sharing anything about the new season.

Speaking to Deadline recently, Dong-Hyuk officially announced that Gi-hun will be returning in the second season. However, he created an expectation by announcing the return of Front Man, the villain of the first season. In another statement to Variety, Hyuk said he hopes the second season will arrive towards the end of 2024.
