Squid Game was one of Netflix’s biggest productions released in 2021. As such, it was wondered for a long time whether the second season would come. Although everyone agrees that the second season will be released, Netflix has confirmed the second season of Squid Game for the first time. The second season announcement was accompanied by the first teaser posted on Twitter.
Netflix’s Twitter account says, “Squid Game is officially returning with its second season.” A second tweet included Hwang Dong-hyuk’s message. This message begins with “A whole new round is coming”. Hwang Dong-hyuk says he spent 12 years bringing the drama to life and thanks fans.

While details are pretty limited at the moment, Dong-hyuk has some details leaking about who will be returning. He allowed: “Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) will be back. Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) will be back. Ddakji (Gong Yoo) and the man in the suit may be back.”
Squid Game hasn’t been announced yet when the second season will air. But it’s good to know for sure that a new season is coming…
