Spotify is set to become the first music streaming platform to be included in the metaverse universe.

The Sweden-based company will build its own island on the metaverse. The island will provide users with a music-themed environment where they can dance and share their stories.
To bring its metaverse plan to life, Spotify has partnered with Roblox, a multiplayer online game that allows players to create and share experiences in this marketplace.
Spotify’s Roblox island will have a style consistent with its brand. The green color will stand out as a dominant element on the island.
Spotify’s island will also be a part of the game. Heart-shaped “Like” icons can be collected to earn free content.
The streaming giant also believes that the virtual goods included in the game will allow artists to make money while giving them the opportunity to interact with their fans.
