According to the statements, the ‘Split Payments’ feature will start to be tested from next week.

According to the shared blog post, thanks to this feature coming to Messenger, it will now be much easier to split accounts, home bills and even rent payments in places such as restaurants. Stating that the feature can be very popular with family and friends, the company said in its statements, “Our new feature will make the life of those who have any problems in dividing the accounts of the meals you eat with your friends or family, household expenses, bills and even rents.”

According to the explanations, this feature will be available during group chats in Messenger. Users will have to press the ‘start’ button at the bottom of the chat, after which they will have the opportunity to split any selected payment by pressing the ‘split payment’ option that appears on the screen. It is not known when the feature, which will start to be tested in the USA in the coming days, will come to other countries.

In addition to these, in the shared post, except for ‘Split Payments’, Messenger; It was stated that new soundmojis (emojis with voice) and four new group AR effects that will be used in group conversations and designed together with social media phenomena Emma Chamberlein, Zach King, Bella Poarch and King Bach will be added.
