Special Vehicle Working with ‘Cheese and Wine’

In order to prevent climate change and to minimize the damage to the environment, campaigns are carried out for the use of alternative fuels in automobiles. In this context, the most common fuel is electricity. Even companies we know for their performance sports cars are working to make their vehicles electric and make them environmentally friendly.

But Prince Charles, the first heir to the British throne, seems to have found his own alternative fuel solution. Showing his sensitivity to the environment with his statements, Prince explained that his 51-year-old Aston Martin vehicle works with white wine and cheese.

“Delicious smells come to my nose while using it”

The full model name of the Prince’s vehicle in question is the Aston Martin DB6 Volante. Prince, who delivered the car, which was given to him by Queen Elizabeth on his 21st birthday, to Aston Martin officials in 2008, said that he wanted to make changes in the working system. Although Aston Martin engineers were initially displeased, they eventually agreed.

In this way, waste of white wine and cheese began to be used in the vehicle, which no longer uses fossil fuels. According to Prince, the engineers agreed that the vehicle is now running better and is more powerful than before.

Prince Charles’ statements came a few weeks ahead of the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP26. In his statements on this subject, the Prince said that world leaders will speak at the conference, but that this should not only be spoken, but also necessary actions must be taken.

When asked what he is doing to reduce his own carbon footprint, Prince; He said that he does not consume meat or fish two days a week and dairy products once a week. He said that he has been trying for a long time to use alternative sources such as solar panels for the heating of the palace. He also stated that he uses electric vehicles.

COP26 will be held on 31 October. It is expected that forest fires, climate change and global warming, which damage our world during the year, will have a great place in the conference.
