Elon Musk’s space transportation company SpaceX plans to launch 52 missions this year. If the goal announced during NASA’s Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) is successful, it will achieve the most annual missions the company has ever launched.
Target number may not be achieved
SpaceX, which made 31 launches last year, wants to further improve this number, which is a record for the company. Apart from its own work, SpaceX carries out joint missions with many countries and international companies, especially NASA. SpaceX has launched three missions so far this year.
Considering the space flight programs, although the targets are high, many factors cause changes in the launch programs. Elon Musk stated that SpaceX aims to make 48 launches in 2021, but they could not reach this number.
