The original, titled Universe, sold for around $11 million at Christie’s Evening Sale in Hong Kong in November 2019. It was then recorded as the first work in Korean art history to exceed $10 million. Universe is defined as a masterpiece among the works of the famous Korean artist Kim Whanki, who passed away at the age of 61.
