South Korean lawmaker Yun Chang-Hyun calls for a session on the IHR and Terraform CEO Do Kwon and officials of South Korean crypto-asset trading platforms to attend the session.

Terra and the collapse of the IHR mobilized South Korean lawmakers. Yun Chang-Hyun, a lawmaker from South Korea’s ruling People’s Power Party, called for a parliamentary session on the IHR. The MP also called for Terraform CEO Do Kwon to attend this session. Chang-Hyun said in a statement today:

“It has become an issue recently to the relevant stock market officials, including Do Kwon, CEO of Terra, the cause of the situation and to protect investors. We must bring it to the National Assembly to hold a session on the measures to be taken.”

Chang-Hyun also said that it is necessary to examine whether the exchanges have stopped trading in this process, adding:

“Coinone, Korbit and Gopax on May 10, Bithumb on May 11 He stopped trading. However, Upbit did not stop trading until May 13. The company earned close to 10 billion won [$7.8 million] in commission income in those three days alone.”
