South Korea launched the spy satellite carried by the rocket named “Falcon 9” produced by the US-based space company SpaceX.

The South Korean Ministry of Defense announced that the spy satellite carried by the “Falcon 9” rocket was launched from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in the US state of California.

After the rocket completed its takeoff at 10.19 local time, it sent the spy satellite into orbit 4 minutes later.

The launch was recorded live on SpaceX’s website.

South Korea plans to send four more radar satellites by 2025.

The South Korean Ministry of Defense announced that the launch date of the first military spy satellite, which was planned to be sent on November 30, was postponed to December 2 due to bad weather conditions.
