When we do any “what” or “how” searches on Google, we come across long, repetitive articles produced with an SEO focus. While this situation has been bothering us for years, Google has slowly started to take measures for it.

While the “Snippet” feature, which is at the top of the search results and tries to convey the sentence you are looking for, is one of them, there is news about a new feature today. Google Assistant will now directly offer the answer you are looking for with the support of artificial intelligence.

How is the new feature of Google Assistant used, what does it offer?

The feature, which Google has not yet announced, shows itself when you activate Assistant while browsing a website in the web browser. The feature is only available in beta for now.

With the new feature, when you open the Google Assistant while the website you are visiting is open, the “Summary” option appears. When you press this key, Assistant aims to summarize the content on the page.

Likewise, when you are on the site, this button cannot be pressed, and the “In summary” voice command can be used directly in the Assistant. However, in the tests, it is noted that the feature does not work yet.

There is no information about when the feature, which is still in development and testing, will be released. Since the feature is not currently working, there is no clue as to how successful the summaries are.
