Sony is currently preparing to launch the Sony WF-1000XM5, the successor to the Sony WF-1000XM4. The main features of these headphones, which also appeared on certification sites, were revealed a few days ago thanks to a report prepared by The Walkman Blog.

Sony WF-1000XM5 certified by Wireless Power Consortium

Considering that the new Sony TWS earphones have been certified by the Wireless Power Consortium, it can be expected to launch with support for Qi wireless charging and 2W wireless charging, similar to that of the Sony WF-1000XM4. The device, which is expected to offer a total of 24 hours of listening time with its charging case, is also expected to offer 1 hour of use with only three minutes of charging, like its predecessor.

The headset, which is expected to come in smaller sizes compared to its predecessors, is expected to be more comfortable due to its size. The earphones, which will have active noise canceling, will weigh 5.9 grams each. The device, which will be charged via the USB Type-C port, will also have multi-point connectivity, touch controls and sensitive audio pickup technology.
