Sony Xperia 1 VII opens a new era in camera technology

Sony is preparing to move mobile photography forward with its new flagship Xperia 1 VII. The company integrates the EXMOR T sensor, which only includes the main camera in the previous model, into the entire triple rear camera. The main camera in the Xperia 1 VII has a resolution of 52 MP (48 MP effective), while ultra wide -angle and telephoto lenses will remain 12 MP. However, the real difference lies in the consistency to be obtained by using the same technology of all sensors.

Sony is usually released in the second quarter of the Xperia 1 series and the new model is expected to be introduced in May. Although the hardware details of the phone are not yet clear, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor used in the Xperia 1 VI is likely to be included in the continuation model. In addition, 5000 mAh battery capacity and fast charging support will be maintained.

Sony’s new camera move will be one of the most important points that distinguishes the brand from its competitors. Xperia 1 VII, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Vivo X200 Pro, such as artificial intelligence -supported camera solutions will perform.
