, which will launch its newest game Horizon Forbidden West 2 days later, Sony has decided to undersign a unique campaign for the planet we live in.

The company that calls this campaign “Play and Plant” will plant hundreds of thousands of trees with a special prize that players will unlock in Horizon Forbidden West until March 25th.

Trees will be planted in endangered forests in the USA

Sony, which has signed such a project to support the United Nations’ Play4Forests campaign, aims to plant a total of 288,000 trees.

Sony will organize the campaign between February 18th and March 25th. “When we launched Horizon Forbidden West, we wanted to do something that contributes to nature. Together we can help our planet, just like Aloy’s efforts to save Earth.”

What Horizon Forbidden West players need to do to participate in this campaign is quite simple. The company, which wants the campaign to reach its goal as soon as possible, added the award called “Reached the Daunt”, which should be opened, to the beginning of the game. Therefore, players do not need to struggle for a long time to plant trees for themselves.

288 thousand trees are planned to be planted in some forests damaged by fires in the USA. According to Sony’s statement, these trees will first be planted in areas damaged by the 2020 Sheep Fire, such as Torreya State Park.
