Getting ready to bring many popular Playstation brands to the big screen, Sony shared the first images of the Gran Turismo movie at the CES 2023 Fair held in Las Vegas. The short video shows that the track action in the game will be brought to the big screen. The film adaptation of Gran Turismo is based on the story of Jann Mardenborough, a real racing driver thanks to GT Academy and its training program. However, the famous name will not be in the movie. We can say that the shared short video reminds us of Gran Turismo trailers and the track action we saw in the game with drone footage and cockpit camera images.
The video also includes commentary from the film’s cast. According to Archie Madekwe, who plays Jann Mardenborough in the adaptation, we will encounter “drama” and “a love story”. Orlanda Bloom says that “spectators will feel every jolt and excitement of a 200 mph race.”
