PlayStation 5 models were criticized for the lack of some monitor support. Sony announced 1440p resolution support for PlayStation 5.

PS 5, which supports 1080p and 2160p resolutions, finally got 1440p support. The company announced that only 60Hz and 120Hz output will be supported at 1440p resolution. Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology will be available in 1080p and 2160p resolutions.

Sony has also activated the listing feature with its new update. Thanks to the feature announced as Gamelists, players will be able to create 15 lists. Each list can host 100 games. It is worth remembering that this feature applies to disc, digital games and streaming games.

Another feature introduced is called Ongoing Events. This feature makes it easy to get back to the game by showing the last activity you did when you last played. Users will also be able to experiment on a separate screen to compare 3D sound and Stereo sound options.

Sony introduced a new feature that will reduce the need for PC and smartphones for PlayStation users. Users will be able to search for YouTube with voice commands. For example, you will be able to access the ShiftDelete.Net YouTube channel by saying “Hey PlayStation, find the ShiftDelete video on YouTube”. However, this feature is only active for users with US and UK accounts for now.

Another important update will be for the PS app for Android and iOS. The new update, which is stated to be released this month, will offer the opportunity to start a PS Remote Play session directly from the phone or tablet.
