The leaks came true and the famous Japanese company officially announced the PSVR 2 at the CES 2022 launch. In addition to the virtual reality glasses, the new game of the Horizon series developed for VR has also been announced.
According to the announcement made by Sony, the next generation virtual reality glasses will be released with 4K resolution support and will also have HDR support. PSVR 2, which will be released for PS5, will also have a greatly expanded field of view and eye tracking system compared to the previous generation. With this new feature, you won’t have to move your head to look at an area in your field of view.
The Japanese company announced the new game of the Horizon series, which is on its way to becoming one of the most established series of the Sony PlayStation brand, exclusively for the virtual reality platform. Horizon: Call of the Mountain is expected to be one of the first party games to be released simultaneously with PSVR 2. The game is developed in partnership with Guerilla Games and Firespite.
