According to Sony’s statement, PS5 users will have to wait until 2023 to experience the PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset.
Sony is working on the movie of PlayStation game Days Gone
Sony PS VR2 virtual reality glasses have two OLED screens that can achieve 4K resolution, can operate at 90 or 120Hz, provide a 110-degree field of view and use foveated rendering. The VR glasses can be connected to the console with a single USB-C cable. Unlike the first PlayStation VR glasses, PS VR2 does not use the camera attached to the console to monitor the user’s movements. Instead, it uses inside-out tracking, similar to Quest 2. This means users can see around while wearing the helmet. The PlayStation HD camera connected to the PlayStation 5 will allow the user to stream while playing VR games.
PS VR 2 only works with the PlayStation 5 game console. When the VR headset launches, 20 major games will be playable, including games set in the Horizon and Walking Dead universes, as well as the VR version of No Man’s Sky and Residen Evil Village.
Sony PlayStation VR2 sense controller
Sony also showed off the spherical PlayStation VR2 sense controller with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, like the PS5’s DualSense controllers. PlayStation VR2 controllers also feature finger-touch detection, which can detect where you put your thumb, index or middle finger without having to press anything.
