Game industry has been agitated with purchases recently. After Microsoft bought Activision Blizzard for about $ 70 billion in the past days, Sony announced that it bought Bungie, the creator of the Halo and Destiny series, for approximately $ 4 billion. However, it seems that Sony will not stop. According to new reports, the Japanese giant’s eyes are now on other companies.

According to a report by TweakTown, Sony has another $10 billion set aside for purchases alone until March 2024. So, who can Sony buy for this money?

Among the companies that Sony cannot buy are EA, Take-Two Interactive, Bandai Namco and Emracer, because the price of these companies is higher than the money Sony has allocated for the purchase. While EA’s price is $37 billion, Take-Two Interactive can be purchased for $25 billion with a Zynga bonus. Namco and Embracer’s prices are also $ 15 billion.

However, Sony can easily buy the following brands:

  • Ubisoft: $7 billion
  • Konami: $6 billion
  • Square Enix: $6 billion
  • Capcom: $5 billion
  • Sega: $4 billion

Even when we look at the prices, Sony can buy 2 of them from Konami, Square Enix, Capcom and Sega if they want.

Let’s see who will win this buying race and which game giant will make the most of the brands they buy? We’ll wait and see…
