Some Samsung Galaxy S21 Users Are Complaining About The Pink Line Coming With The May Update

It’s been over two years since the Samsung Galaxy S21 series was released, and during that time, Samsung has done a great job in fixing any bugs and flaws. However, some problems can occur from time to time, especially after major software updates. Unfortunately, we cannot say that the problem is unusual in this context.

Almost the same problem appeared on Samsung’s flagship device, which is only 2 years old. Users reported that, after performing the May system update, pink-green lines suddenly appeared on their screens.

A user who voiced the problem on the Samsung forums stated that he received ‘$380 screen replacement advice’

After the May update, some users noticed that a pink or green line appeared on the Galaxy S21 screen. This line looks like an issue affecting Galaxy S20 models before. This problem is thought to be caused by hardware or software.

A user has requested technical assistance in the Samsung community to fix the pink line issue on his Galaxy S21 Ultra. They were advised to replace the screen, which equates to about $380.

In the comments, 80% of users reported experiencing the same issue. This indicates that there is a defect in the hardware or software of the devices. Another user reported that his Galaxy S21 Plus got a pink line after running the May update. Not only did one line appear on some users’ screens, even 2 or more lines occurred.

After this strange screen replacement advice, Samsung directly conveyed to the users that it would not make the affected users a victim, but would make a free replacement. However, no official statement has yet been released to the public.
