According to the Canalys report, Vivo, which is the fifth largest smartphone manufacturer in the world with a market share of 8 percent, continues its efforts to present its new products to users. The company, which has increased its popularity all over the world on top of the increasing prices of electronic products due to the global chip crisis and pandemic reasons, appears in the sector with a more affordable price concept.
New details are emerging about the Vivo X80 series, which the company is preparing to showcase very soon. The charging speeds of the series, which previously revealed some of its technical features, have now been announced.
Charging speeds of the Vivo X80 series
Digital Chat Station, which stands out with its leaks in the smartphone industry, leaked the charging speeds that the Vivo X80 series will support from the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. On the other hand, the charging speeds of the flagship Nex 5, which will be introduced soon, have also been announced.
According to Digital Chat Station, all models of the series will be available to users with 80W fast charging support. At the same time, the flagship Nex 5 will charge at the same speeds.
In addition, it was claimed that Vivo has already made great progress on 100W fast charging technology, but since it is not fully ready, 80W speeds are used in these models.
Of course, while Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is launching models with 120W fast charging support, it is also a matter of great curiosity why 100W fast charging technology is being worked on.
Finally, it should be noted that the processors that will power the series have also been announced in the past weeks. Accordingly, Vivo X80 MediaTek Dimensity 8000, X80 Pro Dimensity 9000, X80 Pro+ will debut with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
The launch date of the smartphones is currently unknown. However, according to the allegations, the series will be introduced in the second half of 2022.
