Brightness prevents the view
Schiphol Airport’s Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) said in a statement, due to the location of the sun, the glare took place in the morning. Upon the frequent reports of the pilots on the recent period, the Netherlands Air Traffic Control (LVNL), KLM, Easyjet and Schiphol officials decided to close the track affected by the problem between 10:00 and 12:00 in the morning to ensure flight safety.
Airport officials continue to work to find a permanent solution with the relevant municipal and solar park owners. Typically, traditional solar panels are often produced with coatings that reduce reflection, but they often aim to improve module performance. Therefore, the authorities are expected to turn to different coating solutions.

On the other hand, the German technology company Phytonics announced that it has developed a more advanced solution. The adhesive film, which contains special bionic micro structures produced by the company, allows the solar panels to absorb the light more efficiently. Thus, both reflections are prevented and the efficiency of the panels is increased in low light conditions. According to Phytonics, this special film material is resistant to UV rays, moisture, temperature and full rainfall. The product is available in rolls or plates.
