According to Geekbench 5 tests, the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 chipset scores 1111 points in single-core and 5764 points in multi-core. The Apple M2, on the other hand, can reach 1919 points in single core and 8929 points in multi-core. Especially in a single core, there is an 80 percent difference. Even the Apple M1 is in better shape.

The Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 chipset is only found in the Lenovo ThinkPad X13s laptop, and the performance issues we mentioned above are likely to show up in the tests. Otherwise, it turns out that Qualcomm has not made much progress over the generations.
