The performance of mobile processors is increasing day by day. So much so that these chips, which are in smartphones, tablets and some laptops, have now reached a level that can compete with desktop computers. Finally, exciting leaks about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 have emerged.

When will Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 arrive? Do you know which phone to use?

The latest development on the Qualcomm side came from the cooperation with Samsung. It has been shared that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra models is specially optimized for these devices, and the version in Ultra is the most powerful chip on the Android side.

However, although a short time has passed since these developments, it turned out that Qualcomm is holding its hand fast and focusing on the next series. Of course, although we have only leaks and not official statements for now, we can clearly say that it will be released earlier than its predecessors.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 release date will be in the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year, according to leaks. It is even claimed that it will be used on smartphones of Chinese origin first. Accordingly, we may see the first smartphone using this chip in the last quarter of this year, that is, next October or November.

Of course, we do not know what the processor will bring with it. However, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 offers a 35 percent performance increase in the CPU and up to 40 percent power efficiency compared to its predecessor. Similarly, on the GPU side, there is a performance increase of around 25 percent and power efficiency of up to 45 percent. Therefore, we can see a similar picture in the 3rd generation of the series.
