Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and SD 4 Gen 1, which are more powerful compared to their mid-range rivals; It has 5G technology and support for 200 Megapixels and 108 Megapixels, respectively.
The main cores of Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 run at 2.2 GHz, while the main cores of SD 4 Gen 1 run at 2.0 GHz. Both models have eight cores. There is also an unknown model Adreno GPU with Vulkan 1.1 support.
Qualcomm says it has some power and efficiency gains. The graphics performance of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 will have upgrades of up to 35 percent and the computing performance by up to 40 percent. Snapdragon 4 Gen 1; It will feature 15 percent faster processor and 10 percent more powerful GPU performance.
There are also some improvements in camera support. Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 supports 200 Megapixel camera. It can also shoot photos and HDR videos from three cameras at the same time. Thanks to the Qualcomm AI Engine, there will be an increase in artificial intelligence performance by up to 3 times.
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 will feature the fourth-generation Snapdragon X62 5G modem. This modem will offer download speeds of up to 2.9 Gbps. SD 4 Gen 1 will feature the Snapdragon X51 5G modem that supports download speeds up to 2.5 Gbps.
The new Snapdragon models, which are expected to power entry and mid-range phones, will be available in late 2022 and early 2023. From next year, we may see phones with SD 6 Gen 1 and 4 Gen 1.
