While the productive artificial intelligence race of tech giants continued, such a move came from Snapchat a few months ago. The popular application introduced a chatbot called “My AI” created by OpenAI’s GPT technology. The bot, which has similar functions to models such as ChatGPT and responds to users’ questions, initially came to paid subscribers, but later debuted for everyone.

The giant platform announced today that it has brought a brand new feature for My AI. The feature, called “My AI Snaps”, allows the artificial intelligence model to snap Snaps back to users.

My AI Snaps debuted exclusively for Snapchat+ subscribers

The feature was actually shown for the first time at an event the company held last week. Today, the future has been officially declared. My AI Snaps will be exclusive to Snapchat+ members, the platform’s paid subscription system.

My AI Snaps also allows the My AI bot in the app to send “unique” responses to them by sending Snaps. So when you take a Snap, the bot can respond with a different Snap. For example, let’s say you send a photo of your dog, My AI can reply with another funny photo.

It is possible to say that the feature does not have many functions and is generally for entertainment purposes. However, there are some useful aspects as well. Snap states in its statement that the bot can give creative reactions. For example, when you throw food supplies, My AI will be able to give you a recipe.

Snapchat’s AI model hasn’t been getting good feedback since its launch. After the release of the model, many users started to give 1 star to the application by criticizing it. It has also been seen in the past weeks that My AI can even be trained to lie.
