In the past, Snapchat disappointed Android users by only adding Dark Mode support to its iOS app. Later, Snapchat added support for the Dark Mode feature to its Android app, but added it to the $4 per month Snapchat+ premium subscription. However, this has been reversed and Dark Mode is now free.
Snapchat has made Dark Mode free with an update to its Android app ( v12.46.0.51 ). To enable Dark Mode, go to Settings > App View and select Always Dark. The app will now tell you to restart the app to apply the change. After performing these steps, you will have activated the Dark Mode.
