Smart Stone and Smart Gravel, which detect threats, were developed for the TAF

Thanks to the shrinkage of chips and the development of sensor technologies, we come across interesting small-sized products in the defense industry sector. Domestic technology company Mamtaş developed Smart Stone and Smart Gravel. These products will be used for intelligence and land security.

These products, which are no different from stone and gravel when viewed from the outside, will detect the activity around them thanks to the sensors on them, and will enable early detection of attack attempts and intelligence visits.

Smart Stone

Smart Stone detects the movement around it with its radar and seismic sensors. He can distinguish between humans and animals. This avoids unnecessary warnings. It has a communication range of up to 20 km. It uses low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) technology. It consumes low power and serves for 5-10 years without recharging. Field tests of the smart stone continue. After the conclusion of the tests, mass production will begin.

Smart Gravel

Smart Gravel has smaller dimensions and 150 gram weight . It can be thrown far away using a pneumatic rifle. Thanks to its 10 meter detection range and 5 kilometers communication range, it provides an active protection shield to the military units on the move. The prototype work of Smart Gravel has been completed.
