The number of addresses holding ETH from 0.1 to 1 has reached an all-time high.
Ethereum adoption is on the rise, according to data from IntoTheBlock. According to the data shared by the platform, the number of small wallets holding between 0.1 and 1 ETH has set a new record.
Since the beginning of 2021, Ethereum addresses have grown an astonishing 98%. The amount of ETH held by small addresses rose to 1.78 million.
Why did it increase?
This increase in small addresses holding ETH can be explained by two reasons. Firstly, the widespread adoption of Ethereum with the popularization of areas such as NFT and DeFi, and secondly, the increase in the price of Ethereum. Last year, ETH gained nearly 400% from its November peak, making it one of the best performing assets in the market.
Ethereum is down about 2% in the last 24 hours following a market correction and is trading at $3,105 at the time of publication.
