The 32GB capacity UDIMM/SODIMM DDR5-6400 RAM memory developed by SK Hynix is an industry first. The memory, which is compatible with both (Unbuffered DIMM) and (Small Outline DIMM), can reach up to 6400Mbps.
A new component called Clock Driver provides stable operation at high speeds. Again, this is a first. The first sample of RAM memory produced with 10nm fourth generation has been sent to a company that produces integrated chips for PC.
Although DDR5-supported chips have not yet become widespread, SK Hynix plans to complete the certification of 16GB/32GB/64GB DDR5 memory modules in the 10nm process with large customers and move into volume production quickly. In addition, work has begun for LPDDR6.
