In our weekly site recommendation adventure, there is a very grateful site this week. When you enter this site called Sounds of Earth, you will see a three-dimensional model of our Earth. While this three-dimensional model rotates around itself, you can rotate it as you wish and see where you want.
However, this is not the main purpose of the site. There are small play buttons on this three-dimensional world model. When you press any of these buttons, you can listen to the sounds in the area right under that button, that is, the sounds of the Earth. We have shared information about the site you can access from here below.
Currently you can only listen to 11 regions of the world
Sounds of Earth was born with the goal of creating a collection of ambient sounds of nature to help us relax or meditate and raise awareness for the protection and restoration of our ecosystems, says the site’s founder. The founder of the site also states that we need to protect and restore our environment so that future generations can enjoy these natural sights and sounds that we naturally see.
The regions where you can listen to their sounds on Sounds of Earth right now are: Canada, Japan, California, Tasmania, Amazon, Portugal, Germany, Zambia, Reunion Island, Vietnam and Singapore.
You can see the Shiraito Falls in Japan, the rainforest in Vietnam, a river flowing through the jungle in Tasmania, the heavy rain in the tropical forest on Reunion Island, the Kafue National Park at night in Zambia, the Eistobel Nature Reserve in Germany. You can listen to the sea waves in Nazare in Portugal, the sunrise in the Boreal forest in Canada, the Pacific Ocean waves in California and the rainforest in the Amazon.
