A signature campaign was launched for “Instagram to become Instagram again”. The campaign, which started on Change.org, received support from many famous names.
Support came from the Kardashian family:
The world-famous Kardashian family was among the names participating in the Make Instagram Instagram Again signature campaign. Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, the second most followed names on Instagram, supported the signature campaign in their posts on their Instagram account and called more people to the campaign.
What is required of Instagram?
In the campaign launched on Change.org, the prominent demands of the users were as follows:
- No need to complicate, we want to see our friends’ posts. The beauty of Instagram was that it was instant.
- Let’s be honest, we use TikTok for a reason. Stop trying to be TikTok.
- Let’s go back to Instagram roots, let the algorithm highlight the photos.
Nearly 130,000 people have signed the petition launched on Change.org so far. The target of the campaign is set to be 150,000 signatures.
It is a matter of great curiosity how Instagram will respond to these requests.
