Instant messaging application Signal, which became famous with the crash of WhatsApp last year, announced that it has started the crypto money transfer period by fulfilling its promise in the first months of 2021. Thus, Signal users from all over the world will be able to transfer their money through Signal using the cryptocurrency called MobileCoin.
Having reached an agreement with MobileCoin, founded by Joshua Goldbard and Shane Glynn in 2017, Signal officially started the money transfer period with MobileCoin, which uses the Stellar blockchain and is built on the Monero privacy algorithm.
What Signal users have to do to transfer cryptocurrencies is very simple. It is enough to touch the “+” icon in the application and select the “payment” step. Of course, since the transfer will be made through MobileCoin, the amount you will transfer must also be in MobileCoin currency.
