With the iPhone 14 launching later this year, we can expect the still-available iPhone 11 to be removed from Apple’s smartphone range, a leaker said. Sources speaking to iDropNews say that the iPhone 11 will disappear after the iPhone 14 series is revealed. This decision will be taken not only because of its age, but also because it potentially hinders sales of the iPhone SE (2022), which Apple launched in March.
It seems that the iPhone 11 managed to outsell the iPhone SE even after the new iPhone SE was released. While the iPhone SE (2022) is the cheaper option, the iPhone 11 has a more modern-looking design and has an extra camera on the back.
The same sources say that the iPhone 12 may attract attention for another year, but its price will decrease. It seems possible that the iPhone 11 will even fall to the level it is at now.
It’s not uncommon for the iPhone lineup to be downsized after the release of a new model. If Apple sticks to its past schedule, this year the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be available in September.

The iPhone 13 is a very successful phone, but it’s definitely an expensive option. While the mini version is slightly cheaper, there isn’t a huge difference. That’s why Apple has been using older iPhones as cheaper alternatives for the past few years. That means they’re a very sensible option, as iPhones are often packed with powerful components and aren’t considered obsolete after 12 months. The same is true for the iPhone 11. Although the phone is over 2 years old, it still performs well and is more appealing to many than the iPhone SE that came with the old design.
