Shiba Inu (SHIB) developer Kaal Dhairya has warned of scammers trying to impersonate “Shiba Inu: Deployer”.
Dhairya has detected a convention designed to spread harmful content by hiding information about the real sender and receiver. In this way, hackers made it possible to associate the crypto asset with well-known wallets.
The developer says this method can be used either for clever marketing or to defraud potential victims.
Dhairya urged Shiba Inu users to follow the official announcements to avoid falling victim to scammers in his blog post.
The Shiba Inu has rapidly grown in popularity over the past year, and many scammers have tried to capitalize on this popularity. Last November, the developers warned that SHIB was being targeted by scammers, emphasizing that the team did not offer any giveaways or airdrops.
