Shiba Inu is launching the long-awaited metaverse move. A total of 36,431 plots will be unlocked during the intro phase for SHIB: The Metaverse.
Shiba Inu metaverse begins…
The upcoming SHIB will reveal parts of four different regions in the Metaverse: Growth District, Defense District, Technology District, and Currencies District. Overall, SHIB: Metaverse will consist of 100,595 plots.
This first phase will perhaps be one of the biggest factors. In other words, the land value will be determined according to its location. As we previously reported on Cryptokoin.com, the first phase of the land sale in SHIB: Metaverse, which refers to the bidding event, could begin soon. The bidding event is expected to last three days or 72 hours from the start, and some lands will be offered the earliest access. Ahead of the three-day event, all bidding will be made using Ethereum, while participants are expected to lock their LEASH or Shiboshi NFT.
Tiers two and three refer to the holder event and public sale for those unable to get early access. The Holder event is expected to last seven days and kick off soon after the bidding event ends. The final phase of the public sale is scheduled to take place after the first two phases, and participants will be able to purchase the remaining existing lands on the map at a fixed price and without the need to lock up any SHIB ecosystem assets.
Nova Taxi accepts SHIB
The official SHIB Spanish community reported via tweet that a new business called ‘Nova Taxi’ is now accepting SHIB as a form of payment. According to details provided by the Spanish community, Nova Taxi is a taxi company serving customers residing in Arroyomolinos and Móstoles (communities in Madrid, Spain).
Bake N More, a Dubai-based cafe, recently launched on Shiba Announced that it accepts Inu and other cryptocurrencies as payment via Mixin Network.
SlingTV, American Cancer Society, Newegg, Menufy, Carolina Hurricanes and Twitch are among the major companies currently accepting SHIB via BitPay. BitPay officially started supporting the Shiba Inu token in late 2021, allowing Shiba Inu to spend SHIB at hundreds of BitPay merchants where it is accepted.
