LucieSHIB, one of the Twitter accounts that closely follows the popular meme coin Shiba Inu, stated that a big announcement is coming for SHIB. LucieSHIB tweeted that an announcement could be made this week about the Shiba Inu’s cold wallet. Investors’ interest in SHIB exploded with this news.

In the screenshot shared by Lucie, it says that an update or announcement regarding the SHIB cold wallet will be available in the next few days, or even sooner if things go well. Also in the screenshot, “Just a minor update, possible partnership with Huobi Exchange and Certik is currently being held.” statements are included. According to the initial announcement of the SHIB cold wallet, the Shiba Inu development team is considering working with two well-known names in the industry, possibly Huobi and Certik, regarding the wallet’s launch. Although there are no further announcements on the subject yet, many investors are following the subject closely.
Shiba Inu payments are accepted by hundreds of companies
Crypto payment processor BitPay announced its support for the Shiba Inu in late 2021, and crypto payments adoption has been growing tremendously since then. BitPay states in a blog post that hundreds of companies are now accepting SHIB direct payments.
That said, SlingTV lists 11 major companies that accept SHIB as payment, including Newegg, American Cancer Society, Menufy, Jomashop, AMC Theaters, Carolina Hurricanes, APMEX, HOSTKEY, David SW, and Twitch. Gucci, on the other hand, has become one of the largest luxury brands to accept cryptocurrency, allowing customers to personally spend Shiba Inu at 70 percent of its retail stores.

In a poll conducted by Indian cryptocurrency exchange Giottus, the Shiba Inu community voted overwhelmingly on Twitter to list BONE on the exchange. In the survey, which included a total of 1,987 people, 89 percent of the community voted for BONE to be listed.

Giottus will be the third Indian crypto exchange to add BONE support after SunCrypto and Flitpay. SunCrypto became the first Indian exchange to list BONE on November 29, and Flitpay followed suit by introducing BONE/INR trading pairs on its platform last month. With over 1 million registered users, Giottus is a leading cryptocurrency exchange that allows its users to trade in more than 100 cryptocurrencies, including Shiba Inu (SHIB).
On the other hand, amid these developments, BONE may soon get a listing on the world’s top crypto exchange KuCoin. As you may recall, KuCoin had previously responded positively to a community member’s request to list BONE.
