The Shiba Inu community is actively awaiting the launch of the Layer-2 blockchain solution Shibarium. The launch was delayed as developers tried to build the Shiba Inu Ecosystem amid the long-running bear market. Many users are waiting for an official statement from Shytoshi Kusama, the core developer of the Shiba Inu ecosystem. In fact, they are looking for clues from Shytoshi’s tweets. The developers are revealing the next step towards the Shibarium Beta launch, although the release date remains a mystery. Here are the details…
Shiba Inu inventor reveals what’s expected for the Shibarium
In a tweet yesterday, Shiba Inu influencer SHIB BPP shared a message from Shiba Inu developer Trophias. The Discord message pointed to the next and potentially final step before the Shibarium beta launch. According to Trophias, all that needs to be done before the beta launch is to publish the documentation. The developer wrote in the shared message “first the website, then the docs, then the beta, as far as I know.”
Shib BPP shared a message from Shytoshi Kusama in a follow-up tweet. So he seemed to confirm that. According to Kusama, they’re just adding some finishing touches. Next comes the editing and publishing of documents. After that, the project will begin. Kusama said, “I’m trying to reach out to those outside the community. Then there are lots of documents to edit and publish, and then VOILA,” he wrote.
Step by step to Shibarium beta launch
It is worth noting that developers have been hinting at the release of the Layer 2 solution for over a year. While Shibarium was last scheduled to launch in September, the developers claimed technical issues were causing the delay. Currently, the team has yet to release a launch date. This upset the SHIB community, many of whom were tired of waiting.
In particular, developers have already taken the famous first step towards the launch of the Shibarium beta with the update of the Shiba Inu website starting on Sunday. In the meantime, as we reported as Kriptokoin.com, Kusama announced that the project will not start during the Christmas holidays. Instead, he urged community members to spend this time with their families.
Some members feel that Shibarium’s development is complete and waiting for the right time to deploy. Meanwhile, Shiba Inu (SHIB) price is consolidating below $0.0000080 after falling in the last two weeks. SHIB price is currently trading down 1 percent in the last 24 hours. The price tag is at $0.000007928. Meanwhile, ecosystem token Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) is trading 2 percent higher. It changes hands at its current price of $0.79. The 24-hour low and high are at $0.774 and $0.80, respectively.
